wonderful stay with Gill and Paul. Their home is located near the ferry

and Paul made me feel so welcome to their lovely home, after a long
jounery from the UK, with tea and delicious homemade cakes. My room and
bed were so comfortable. I started each day with Gill's fantastic
homemade muesli
and fresh fruit. I loved my week stay with Gill and Paul and almost did
not want to leave to begin my travels around New Zealand, which
Gill patiently helped me start to organise. We had dinner one
evening of fish caught by Paul, served with a delicious Zucchini recipe of Gill's. Both Gill and Paul are wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend staying here." Morag Coates (UK) - March 2012

"My
wife and I stayed three nights in October with Gill and Paul for the
Rugby World cup semi-final,when the All Blacks thrashed the Ozzies! We
found the accomodation fresh and comfortable, the setting relaxing and
quiet, and the hospitality outstanding, in the best Kiwi way: warm
and informal but thorough and very empathetic to guests' needs. They made our stay very enjoyable with their "not in your face" interaction that had us feeling at home with friends. We
were pleasantly surpised at how easy and quick it was to get to
downtown Auckland and places of interest on the North Shore. Add Gill's
great cooking for an excellent B&B experience." Bas Logan (Wellington, NZ) - Oct 2011
"Thank

exactly what we needed for a good start to make New Zealand our new
home!" Judit & Christian (Austria) - Oct 2011
"We
stayed last month for 3 nights, and we had a special good time with
Jill and Paul. They are so kind that they brought us to the centre of
Auckland by their car on rainy day and told us some information about
traffic and transportation and the change of Summer Time and much more.
And Jill made us very delicious breakfast and cookies and banana cake
and jam and honey. And we woke up in the morning by the sound of
singing birds. The garden is very beautiful and also beautiful inside
their house. We are very lucky to stay such a beautiful B&B
homestay. Thank you for your kindness , Jill and Paul. And
additionally, congratulations for All Blacks' winning the Ellis cup
last night!" Nobu & Takako Murakami (Japan) - Oct 2011
"Stayed
here for a Rugby World Cup weekend, which we enjoyed apart from
the result. (ENG v SCO) We were given a warm welcome on arrival and
made to feel very much at home. Facilities were excellent and our hosts
Gill and Paul went out of their way to help with maps and other travel
advice. Must mention Gill's skills in the kitchen especially the home
made jams. She was good enough to share her recipe for lemon curd which
we will be trying out when back in UK" Gary & Brenda Steel (Yorkshire, UK) - Oct 2011

for everything, Haven Homestay felt like home from home. We were well looked
after with lovely clean and well presented bedroom and bathroom facilities’. We
also had a good choice of food at breakfast time and Gill’s home cooked meals
and baking was to die for. Oh, and I mustn’t leave out Paul’s specialty of smoked
snapper (freshly caught) – beautiful! We would like to recommend Haven Homestay
as a warm and friendly environment for both couple's and families’ and I am
