Rotorua

Rotorua is the heart of New Zealand's thermal area and has lots of attractions to suit everyone. There is plenty to see and do from Māori culture, thermal wonders, world renowned spas, adventure activities and more! You will be able to see volcanic landscapes, mud pools, geysers, forests, lakes and Kiwi birds. Exeperience a Maori cultural show followed by a traditional Hangi (food cooked in the ground), or try whitewater rafting, Zorbing, or ziplining!

A visit to Hobbiton, Taupo or Tauranga is only an hour away making Rotorua a great place to base yourself.

If you don't have a car, the local bus station is close by and some of the tourism attractions will pick you up direct from our B&B.

Whether you require assistance with a restaurant or your daily activity itinerary we can advise and help you make bookings. In some cases there is a free pick-up from our B&B to some attractions in Rotorua and we can help arrange this for you. We have an extensive brochure rack and many of the attractions offer a discount, so talk to us before you book.
