    Getting around

As the city is mainly flat and the streets are laid out in a grid pattern, it is easy to get around either by foot, local bus or car. Local buses travel past most tourist attractions and leave from the i-SITE tourist office on Fenton Street.
If you have a car you can explore the many lakes and thermal areas at your own pace.

Our homestay is situated within easy walking distance of the city centre,
Kuirau Park, the lakefront, markets, thermal pools and restaurants.

    See and Do Rotorua

    On ya bike!

Rotorua is well known as being a magnet for Mountain Bikers and cyclists due to the labyrinth of bike trails throughout the Redwood Forest, the paved cycleway that goes from Rotorua City all the way to Wai-O-Tapu and the many cycling and mountain bike events held here throughout the year.

There are trails to suit all skill levels from the casual rider to the extreme daredevil! There are numerous cycle shops and mountain bike businesses where you can hire bikes or you can bring your own.

We are located 5 minutes by car to the Redwood Forest or you can cycle there. If you are bringing your own bikes you can lock them securely here at our B&B and we have a hose where you can wash your bikes down. Relax and enjoy our hot spa at the end of your day cycling.
